Gift Basket Hugs came to life out of my love of being home raising my three beautiful children.
After working for 14 years as a manager for Verizon, my beautiful baby boy arrived. I knew that I wanted to make the change to be home full time. My children now 5,4 and 20 months fill my days with hugs and smiles. Who could ask for more?
I also care for my elderly Mom, 79, who lives in an in-law we added on over three years ago. Spending time with Grandma every day is quite a gift for my children.
I started my on-line career selling baby clothes on E-bay. Through that experience I met a friend who suggested gift baskets. A site was designed and Gift Basket Hugs came to life. I love helping my customers find the "perfect" gift for any occasion.
I work with five different basket design companies to offer over 300 unique baskets. You can find something for every occasion and budget at Gift Basket Hugs.
The most rewarding thing about my on line experience has been meeting so many wonderful friends. Exchanging ideas and thoughts with other Moms has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
My goals for Gift Basket Hugs - to offer the best selection of gifts for every occasion. I strive to provide very personal customer service so that my customers come back time and again. I want the business to succeed so that I may remain home as my children grow and mature.
My other passions? I love to help people learn sign language. As a teenager I worked at a school for the deaf part time. The beauty of signing always stayed with me and I taught my son Ryan to sign before he turned two. Signing enriches language development in any child.
