WAHM of the Month 11/2004

I am almost 32 and am married to a great man for just over 8 years. We live in Michigan and have one little boy who will be 3 in December. His name is Curtis. We're also trying for our second munchkin. 

I've been at home with my son since the beginning and wouldn't have it any other way. I've been working from home since then too, dabbling in a few things until I found my true calling. 

I provide custom menu plans for families with children. It came from my own experiences as a mom. My son started to become very picky about his food around the time he turned 2. After pulling out all my old recipes and finding more, and sharing them with my friends, I found there was a real need to help people to bring their family back to the dinner table. Society is so rushed these days, cooking has become a chore and not something fun. I had to organize all of my recipes so I wrote a cookbook that is now being published. 

I also sell Kat's Coffees and More. My work keeps me busy and challenges me in different ways than my son. I love working from home, but I love being a mom the most!
