Wonderful interview and Vera had me crying. You two ladies really explored the passion of entrepreneurship and the practical elements that are needed to build a successful business online.

I was about to go to bed and now I'm so pumped I've got the energy to keep working on my project. Many thanks :)

Debra -

Love your website! Very cool branding, and I see that you're promoting my PLR Secrets report -- Thank you for that! :)

I agree that paying it forward is ALWAYS the way to go, but I also caution our readers of the other side of the coin. Oftentimes we undervalue ourselves and our own projects while we give til it 'hurts'. So, yes, be visible and make the web a better place, and lend a helping hand, but make sure that it's a win-win scenario as well.

(That you're learning something, getting free resources, making a valuable contact, or getting paid of course, as you now are!)

The only reason I mention that is that I'm one of those who finds herself neck deep in helping people with their projects just because I care - and then I'm not focusing on my work.

HOWEVER -- I got my job with Jimmy the same way.

So, my dear readers - Give. Give. Give. BUT -- at the end of the day, it's about you and YOUR business growing, too.

On that note - what are you doing for YOUR business today?

Nicole

PS. VERY proud of you Debra - and happy for you as well. Thanks for listening. :D

The two things that you must do if you had to start your business over again.

Get an auto-responder service
and...
Partner with someone.

Amen to that. I couldn't agree more.

The "day" my business turned around was the day I finally found the best business partner - ever!

How did I find this partner?

1. I gave and shared ideas - articles - grunt work for several months. I didn't charge one penny. I never asked for money.

2. I spent huge amounts of time "helping" others on this forum.

3. I gave so much that this "partner" couldn't figure out how to do it "all" without me. Guess what? I was offered a partnership within 3 months.

I've never met my business partner - and I've only talked with him on the phone 3 or 4 times. All our communication is done via email.

We have been partners 1 full year this month and we couldn't be happier with the progress we have made.

My advice... Give till it hurts and then give some more. Remember the movie "Pay It Forward"?

I'm just saying... :0)
