St. Patrick's Day Crafts for Kids

4 Leaf Clover Handprint Craft

Green Paint
Paint Brush
White Paper

Paint your child’s hand with the green paint and have your child place a palm print, remembering to keep the fingers together. Continue to place a palm print with the palms all touching 4 times. Take your paint brush and paint a simple stem and you will have a 4 leaf clover.

** You can do this on the front of cards by using your child’s thumb instead of hand**

Rainbow Streamers For Dancing

Paper Plate
Scissors
Rainbow colored paper streamers (for long) or ribbons (for short)
(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple)
Tape or Stapler

Cut the middle out of your paper plate leaving a donut shape. Tape or Staple your Streamer or Ribbons to your paper plate. Dance to wonderful Irish music with your new Rainbow Streamer.

Rainbows Made Easy

Red Crayon
Orange Crayon
Yellow Crayon
Green Crayon
Blue Crayon
Purple Crayon 
Tape
Paper

Laying all the crayons out in the order in which they are stated, tape them all together in a row. Then let your children make a rainbow using these crayons.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple Jell-O
Hot and cold water 
Clear plastic cups 
Refrigerator 
Make the red Jell-O according to instructions on the box. Pour a small amount in the bottom of each clear glass (about one sixth of the cup). When the Red Jell-O has set (this may take hours or overnight) repeat using the Orange Jell-O, Yellow Jell-O, Green Jell-O, Blue Jell-O, and Purple Jell-O. Be sure to add the Jell-O in that order to see your Rainbow come to life.
